OmicronElectronics Australia.
THE PROJECT
One existing facility.
A complete new operating environment.
O'Neill's delivered the design development and construction of a full-building upgrade for Omicron Electronics Australia at 14 Wealthiland Drive, Mill Park. The project was developed around a fast-track programme, moving from concept through construction while coordinating new structural, services and workplace requirements within the existing facility.
The scope extended well beyond the office fitout. New loading dock and balcony works, upgraded amenities, structural alterations and hydraulic, fire and building-services upgrades were coordinated alongside new partitions, ceilings, finishes, workstations, furniture and equipment.

D&C / FULL BUILDING UPGRADE
Design decisions connected
to construction reality.
The project required architecture, structure, building services, amenities and workplace requirements to move together. Bringing design development and construction into one delivery pathway allowed buildability, procurement and programme decisions to be resolved while the project was still developing — rather than being discovered after documentation was complete.

One project.
Many interfaces.
